In order to have a real relationship with our creativity, we must take the time and care for it.
The most important thing is to hold on, hold out for your creative life, for your solitude, for your time to be and do, for your very life.

Every so often the Universe presents me with opportunities I didn’t know I needed. If I would have been asked if I wanted to spend a month living in a house without Internet hookup, even an absolutely fabulous one, I would most likely have said no. But here I am in that very situation. I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss my Mac, however I have been given the gift of time to get back to creating collages, something I absolutely love doing. I’ve also been journaling each morning, writing Haiku, doing more reading, taking more photos, spending more time with our darling dogs, exploring each day with Eddie, my most wonderful husband, and, maybe most importantly, being more present to all of these things. And, here I am, improving my technical skills on this iPhone – no small feat!
